Christmas:)

I hope you all had just as great of a Christmas as I had! I must say its odd to have all these holidays off!! YAY for orientation bc this will prob never happen again! Christmas eve was spent at my aunts house and was a great time...we always do a traditional Italian fish meal and it was yummy. Christmas was at our house this year and was a blast as well the last visitors left around 1030! Boy was Santa great to me! I got a keurig, some furniture for my new place and a bunch of other things.

I have picked an apt that I really like. Its like 25 minutes from work in strafford NH. Its kinda a rural street! But its not far away from shopping plazas and such and its about 15 minutes from joy probably? Peanut and I will have tons of space as its a 2+bedroom and it has a washer and dryer hook up! The carpeting is new its a second floor place. I will let u know when its official we are waiting for credit checks and such...I really feel good about all this and I finally feel like I'm moving forward which is amazing...time to let the past be the past...WELCOME 2010!!!:):)

Curls:)

Well its offical I had my hair trimmed and slightly permed. I didn't want crazy curls more of a wave or loose curls... I enjoy it:) Christmas shopping is done...just waiting on sarahs gift to come in the mail then I will sit down and get to wrapping everything!Peanut is doing well... he is very funny and loving lately and he still hates his snow shoes. I work the weekend and it looks like lots of snow so I will prob be leaving him at home with the family and staying with friends. SO excited for christmas! Happy holidays!

Shopping:)

Well...the Christmas shopping has begun. I must say I am FAR behind! I have no idea what Anthony will b getting this year!. Oh well... I will figure it out. We will be having Christmas at our house this year and if something good came out of my life turning upside down it definitely is that I have thanksgiving Christmas and new years off this year!!:) Christmas cookie baking with mom is underway and I am loving every minute of it. We are also planning a trip to see the play Wicked which is am SO excited about!!! Peanut is doing well...he has fallen in love with the family and is adjusting well to Caddy. The new job is interesting...those who know me know that I hate change so it definitely is a difficult adjustment but oh well. All is good:)

Work:)

Im sorry I have been slacking and have not posted in a while! Anyway...life has been busy (yay!)I worked Monday through Friday for hospital orientation which was very boring! Then I worked Sunday my first 12 hr shift which was pretty slow but that's okay:) The other nurses seem really nice and the floor is very nice. It seems much more relaxed then Bellin was...they dont have a certain time to do checks, they dontdraw their own labs...an so on. I love the parking situation it is so nice to park right outside the building. Once I have a local apt it will be nice bc I will be able to sleep in even longer! I also love that the position is straight days!! YAY!!so...so far so good! Peanut has been really good lately we are stuggling a little with our potty training again since we have snow but much better than last year I will just have to stay on top of it! We had our semi family reunion with my moms side of the family which went well...lots of people I didn't really remember but some great spiked egg nog!! I will definitly need that recipe! I made my christmas cards for this year and I am picking them up today and hopefully mailing them out tomorrow. Thats really all for now...ttyl

Dear Black Friday...

Dear Black Friday...how I love you. SOOO i did not wake up early I woke up at 0930 and left at 1000 I stopped by old navy and got 2 pairs of jeans for 15$ each!!! I also bought a hat for 5 dollars. I went to the mall next to look for clogs at American Eagle. I found them and thought I was going to be paying around 24$ a piece but when the cashier rang the two pairs up I received both for 27$!!!!! CAN U BELIEVE IT.I was home by 1130 no lines no waiting it was great! I forgot about thanksgiving! It was a great day we went to the cape to see my cousins DJ's game...he is the QB and he threw for 6 touchdowns and ran for one! It was great! We had lunch at their home and came back later that night all in all a great time. Today we saw blind side as a family, it was a really enjoyable movie! Monday the job starts and the first week will be rough for peanut and myself bc its 6 out of 7 days but after that its only 3 days a week...hopefully i made the right decision in taking him... i also have some apts to look at this week:) that's all for now... time for sushi and wine with the girls...hopefully some Jacuzzi time too

Thanksgiving

Hey there! The thanksgiving plans are to hit the CAPE:) YAY We will be going to my cousins football game he is QB for his high school team. Being at the game on time will require leaving early in the am and lots of Dunkin Donuts for the Esposito girls. So this means we all have to be showered and ready to go by like 745...hahahaha hilarious! Anyway moving on... i start work on Monday work Monday thru Friday for hospital orientation then I go to three days a week!! The other exciting thing is that they aren't making me do a huge orientation they sid at least 4 weeks and then if i want more time we can go form there. Thank god... i don't think i could handle another 12 week orientation. Still looking for the perfect apt:) Ideally a place on the first floor, with hardwood floors, 1-2 bedrooms, washer and dryer hookups, and off street parking... obviously that allows pets. Other than that same ol same ol i bought my first Christmas gift for someone last night, and i can't wait for black Friday shopping:):):) ttyl

Accepted:)

Well I accepted the job and they checked my references and made the offical offer today. I am going to NH friday for the physical and they drug test. I am trying to line up some apt to look at then too:) I went to Anthonys game yesterday against St Johns he had a few great tackles and got a ton on playing time! YAY Sunday I took Caddy to get hr Distemper and Lepto shot she did great. Petco has low cost vaccinations and man was it worth the trip only 21$ for the vaccines, my dad was very happy! Peanut and I went to Joys on saturday we say 7 apts and went to a party that night needless to say we are still trouble together, but it def was a good time! Thats all for now! Sorry if this seemed scatterbrained!

APT?!?!?!

Well the apartment search in ongoing...hopefully I find something nice soon:) I will be traveling to NH again tomorrow to see JOY, oh wait i meant tosay see some apts! I might stay there are go to a party we will see depends on what I want to do with Peanut. I will say this though...if i stay and Joy and I are drinking it will be a memorable night per usual:) It's been a while! Besides that life is good...reading relaxing trying to act like this is a vacation now because it will be ending before I know it! The rents headed to Maine for the night so my dad could gold and my mom could visit her spa lady hehehe...they also have some friends up there with a four season house so they will be visiting them im sure. I am gonna take care of Anthony and get some good reading in! Oh I almost forgot to mention that my belongings and furnture no longer are in Wisconsin!! YAY:)They have started the trip east as well! I dont think you know how exciting that is for me! Anyway... The dogs have been very weird today they are super tired and lazy must be the gray skies...well thats all for now!

Wentworth-douglas:)

I accepted a job offer from Wentworth-douglas hospital in Dover NH! The position is labor and delivery 12 hr shifts 3 days a week STRAIGHT DAYS! My tentitive start date is the 30th of Novemeber.The hospital just happens to be located int he town right next to JOY!! YAY So now the apt search is on. Hopefully I find something really nice soon. Keep your fingers crossed! Well thats all for now.

2 job offers!

Good news I was offered two nursing positions in NH! One is in Rochester NH at Frisbee hospital the other is in Dover NH at Wentworth Douglas...both are womens and childrens floors where i would focus on labor and delivery. Here is the best part STRAIGHT DAY SHIFT!!! Three 12 hr day shifts a week with full benefits! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!!I am going to think about it over the weekend and make my decision on Monday. I am also going to concord NH Monday to get finger printed for my nursing license and I have been completing CEUs all day! I only have 3 more to complete:) Im going into Boston tomorrow for dinner;) so things are going well and looking up.

Peanut is feeling much better too he stopped puking for a day after the reeses incident then started again when i was shadowing in NH so I decided to give him some pepto and it works! Hopefully he ends the crazy behavior! He and I are going to NH to see JOY saturday I cant wait! Joy and I will be apt searching and such saturday wish me luck!

Peanut the peanut butter hog...

Well Peanut was up all night long. He got into Anthonys Halloween candy and decided to have a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup...he payed for it. First let mention that he somehow managed to unwrap the candy before eating eat! Then he managed to eat the entire Reeses in like 30 seconds! Its crazy that wecan be up for 6 hours with him puking up chocolate for probably a minute worth or naughty behavior! Yes he puked for 6 long hours... chocolate puke it was gross! I ever thought he had so much in his little stomach it was amazing in a not so good way. Anyway...tomorrow I drive to NH to shadown at Wentworth Douglas so cross your fingers for me! Love and Hugs J

Friends and family:) I have been able to spend a great week with my family just hanging out and now it's time to visit the friends I have been missing so much! Tonight I'll be stopping by to visit Una possible some trick or treating with her little one Ryan. Tomorrow I will be heading back to CT to spend the day with Kassie and Sam. He is about 10 months old and I hve yet to meet him since I was spending my time in WI. Then on Wed I will be shadowing at one of the hospitals I interviewed at and will hopefully be seeing Joy when she flys back from Florida! I could not be more excited to spend time with the friends I missed so much while I was away! Peanut had his second tick yesterday GROSS! I will never get use to that. Well long time no blog!

Hellohello
So much has happened and I honestly don't feel like the recap...those of you who are close know the full story...those of you that aren't sorry maybe another day. Anyway Peanut and I are doing well we are currently in Northboro MA with my parents while I interview in NH and MA for a new RN job. I had four interviews this past week two clinics and two maternity floors all in NH. Keep your fingers crossed! Peanut and my parents dog Caddy are getting along better than expected and my dad and I survived the 20 hour drive to MA!! I am apartment hunting at the moment and I am really looking forward to having my own place hopefully near a few good friends and family! Thank you all for the support, kind words and thoughts that you have been sending my way and know that I am doing well...just dusting of the knees;)
